Safwan Imad is the founder of The SAF Clinic and an HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist. He currently works as a Physiotherapist within the NHS, alongside running the clinic.

Combining physiotherapy knowledge, clinical experience and evidence-informed treatments to help you recover, move better and perform at your best.

With a passion for helping people recover, move better and improve their wellbeing, Safwan has developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal health, anatomy, rehabilitation and evidence-informed practice.

He completed over 1,000 hours of clinical placements during his degree, working with a wide range of injuries, conditions and rehabilitation needs. His NHS practice continues to develop his clinical knowledge, assessment skills and experience.

Every client is treated with professionalism, respect and an individualised approach. Treatment is adapted around your needs, goals and comfort, with care that goes beyond short-term discomfort.

Drawing upon his physiotherapy education, clinical experience and ongoing professional development, Safwan established The SAF Clinic to provide professional, evidence-informed treatments tailored to each individual.

The clinic offers Wet Cupping (Hijama), Dry Cupping, Fire Cupping, Sports Massage, Graston Therapy, Acupuncture and Dry Needling, aimed at relieving muscular tension, supporting recovery, improving movement and helping clients maintain their physical wellbeing.

Committed to continuous professional development, Safwan continues to expand his knowledge and clinical skills through both his NHS practice and work at The SAF Clinic. His long-term ambition is to become a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist while developing the clinic as a trusted local provider of physiotherapy-led and specialist hands-on treatments.

His vision is simple: to combine physiotherapy knowledge, clinical experience and evidence-informed treatments to help people recover, move better and perform at their best.
