Meet Safwan

Safwan — BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy — First Class Honours

Safwan Imad is the founder of The SAF Clinic (Structure and Function). With a passion for helping people recover, move better and improve their overall wellbeing, he graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy, developing a strong foundation in musculoskeletal health, anatomy and evidence-informed practice.

Throughout his degree, Safwan completed over 1,000 hours of clinical placements, gaining valuable hands-on experience working with individuals presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. These experiences strengthened his understanding of the human body and reinforced his passion for supporting people throughout their recovery journey.

Drawing upon his physiotherapy education and clinical experience, Safwan established The SAF Clinic to provide professional, evidence-informed hands-on therapies that complement musculoskeletal health and promote overall wellbeing.

The clinic specialises in Wet Cupping (Hijama), Dry Cupping, Fire Cupping, Sports Massage and Graston Therapy, offering treatments intended to relieve muscular tension, support recovery and help clients maintain their physical wellbeing.

Safwan believes that professional care involves more than addressing short-term discomfort. Every client is treated with professionalism, respect and an individualised approach, with care adapted around their needs, comfort and selected treatment.

Committed to continuous professional development, Safwan continues to expand his knowledge and clinical skills. His long-term ambition is to become a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist while continuing to develop The SAF Clinic as a trusted provider of specialist hands-on therapies within the local community.

His vision is simple: to apply his physiotherapy knowledge alongside evidence-informed hands-on therapies to help people recover, move better and perform at their best.
